Waiting for results...

Ok, now the post-campaign of our project has been successfully written and sent to the Google. I hope we include all directions given from Google. My opinion is that we made a good campaign and did our best...but Google will be the one to decide...the results will be announced in the end of the month and we hope for the best ;)

GOMC je vsako letno globalno študentsko tekmovanje iz spletnega marketinga katerega sponzorira Google s kar 200 dolarjev nepovratnih sredstev.

End of three-consecutive weeks

AdWord campaigns are paused because we spend our budget.
We spend 200.71 dollars, I still do not know how this is possible.
Tomorrow will be the official end of the three-consecutive weeks of the competition.

The competition is not over jet!

We have to write post-campaign now, we have three weeks but I would rather see it finished in week if possible.

I suggest that we channel all of our energy in post-campaign.

The competition is coming to an end.

We have almost spend all of our budget and the three-consecutive weeks are ending tomorrow.

We can be quite satisfied with our optimization of the account.
All graphs are showing positive results.

As a Team captain I am proud of all Team members and rich experience I've gained.

Surprise,

The best CTR is shown in campaign Fashion magazines with 11.90% CTR.
I can not believe this; I thought that this campaign will not show any significant results.

AdWords


Hey:)
Amela and I have just tried to make a campaign in an AdWord test account. I have to say, that we had some problems with payment, because we did not know, that you can make an action without remarking a way of payment :) But, it does not go without mistakes in start:)So, I hope that we will be able to make every action better and better in advance.

I would really want to thank for "adoption" :). It means a lot to me, but unfortunately I was not able to collaborete yesterday :(. I still hope I get you know (better).

However I can introduce myself:
I am Janja. I live in Vodice. As you already know I have been doing licence for tour guide. This Saturday we had an excursion in Gorenjska; it was great but I have to confess it is not easy at all!!! (and because of that I have not really work for GOMC this days). I love travel and see different culture.
I am in second grade now... hmmm what alse??

If you do not mind, I would ask you for summary of you/our meeting and tell me about my duties.

We had a lunch at the mexican restaurant and coffe break in Latino bar, where we were talking about our further assignements.

Hi! My name is Ida, and I am a quite new member of team a.
Today we had a meeting in Portorose. There was Mitja - our captain :), Amela, my scoolmate, Sanja, student from location Ljubljana, who I had the opportunity to get to know beter, and me.
Janja was missing, because she is doing her licence as a tourist guide - I hope it went well! :)
First we had lunch together, we were talking and getting to know each other better.
Then we set down in nice atmosphere, it was a sunny day on slovenian coast. We made a plan about analizing our campaigns, when we will start with our ads. We set our tasks and who will be doing each task.
After today we are full of energy, and I can hardly wait that we start running our campaign!!

Foxit Reader experience

Merge of Teams

Well new members got their tasks, my next step is empowerment of new members.

AdWord Editor


Hello,

We are pushing forward because of little time I am working on the Adword it self.

Well I find Adword Editor very useful, it is simple and it gives me better insight into structure of the account.

The biggest problem I had was Slovenian language if I tell you frankly I only use English language software so I can’t get confused.

I have just solved the problem and changed the language…..I just hope that other Tim members will share my opinion.

Hello,

Well apparently we are having some problems with the response of team members.
They stopped responding to tasks assigned by me as their captain. I've used an advice of our mentor. They all have to report their completed tasks in percent and make an explanation if task is not completed, so we can move to the implementation faze.
A week has past and some Tim members are taking their time. There is a great possibility that they will not complete their task according to our project time schedule. As the result we may be disqualified from the competition ;(

Change of business

Well I am a bringer of bad news this time.

The fact is that the Almin Dom is apparently going out of business. I just got their final response. That is why they have to cancel their cooperation.

This should not phase us! I believe that this is not a problem. We shall cooperate with ALAYA then.

ALAYA offers a unique experience thru their ambient, beach side and party’s.

Actually we can upgrade brainstorming sessions because of their rich offer.

WHERE THERE IS A PROBLEM, THERE IS A SOLUTION.

Almin Dom*** made an offer for our cooperation; Motivational weekend (MW) for our Tim.

The program of MW shall consist of:

21st of March, Saturday

12:00 Arrival
15:30 Guided tour;
Presentation of vision/mission, target costumers and achievements:

• Accomodation (reception and household)
• F&B (service and kitchen)
• Alma Maximiliana Karlin (memorial room and history)
• Ski resort and hiking

17:30 Coffee Break (socializing with staff, recognizing values of work at the Hotel and the Hotel atmosphere).
19:00 Dinner
20:00 Brainstorming session, we shall involve some of the staff (moderator; Sanja)
21:00 Gathering and recognizing the true value of key words and preparation of first campaigns

I would like to share my experience with this tool which I find very useful.

I made friendship with Erasmus student named Frida (Sweden).

I wrote on her wall (facebook), but she didn’t replay because she wasn’t on the internet at the moment.
I needed some info. urgently. I was a bit desperate so I wrote on my facebook wall “Iščem Frido” (in Slovene, which is a very hard language, “I’m searching for Frida” in English) it was totally irrelevant.
When I wrote that, I was quite sure that she won’t notice my post, or even more probably she will not understand Slovene.

Next day we’ve meet and she tells me “you searched for me”, a saw that on facebook!

“Ohhh… you know Slovene language… you are a fast learner, I am stunt by your intelligence”, I replied.

“NO, I JUST USED GOOGLE TRANSLATE” was her answer!

I’ve just realized that when doing surveys, analysis is already there.

I can make a survey in a couple of minutes, plus I can watch statistics when ever/where ever I want.
